Country/Broadway Legend Gary Morris Provides 25-Page Version of Mueller Report “Off The Cliff”

September 25, 2019 by GaryMorris
Press

For Americans confused by the recent Mueller hearings and the 448-page Mueller Report, celebrated artist and proud patriot Gary Morris has created “Off The Cliff,” an easy-to-digest brief on the report. The 25-page abridged version is currently available for download by clicking here.

At the heart of creating “Off the Cliff” is Morris’ determination to inspire the general public to stay informed about the events leading up to, throughout and after the 2016 presidential election.

The award-winning country music and Broadway legend has performed for every president from Jimmy Carter to Barack Obama.

“While traveling from my home in Nashville to my ranch in Colorado, I picked up the Mueller Report,” Morris said. “Though it was difficult to read, I made a conscious decision to read the full report, then reduce the 448 pages into a simple report overview. Reading this synopsis is a good place for people to begin to understand the importance of the report.”

The Mueller Report, released on April 18, 2019, has been a breaking news piece on every news program. The general public comprehends that the report is an important document, but also may perceive it as an overwhelming collection of information that is too daunting to analyze. Providing “Off the Cliff” is an effort to make the top-line information from the report available to the general public.

Special Counsel Robert Mueller’s investigation focused on Russian interference in the 2016 presidential election. The investigation concluded with thirty-four indictments, including members of President Trump’s campaign staff. Morris hopes this report summary will allow readers to be informed about the true events that unfolded leading up to and throughout President Trump’s first term.

“I would also invite everyone to get the full Mueller Report and take as much time as needed to read it,” Morris encourages. “There are some components that have had a tremendous effect on American society. All Americans should take note.”

Renowned Singer and Broadway Actor Gary Morris Honors Veterans Year-Round At His Ranch

When renowned singer, songwriter and Broadway actor Gary Morris sat down to work on his latest release “Sense of Pride,” he knew it would be his most personal album yet. The title track “Sense of Pride” is autobiographical and was penned about his father, World War II veteran Master Sgt. Stanley Morris and dedicated to all veterans.

“As Tom Brokaw has stated before, ‘It is, I believe, the greatest generation any society has ever produced,’” recalls Gary. “My father served as a master sergeant in World War II. One of my uncles retired from the Air Force as a lieutenant colonel. Another uncle served in the Korean War. Military service was part of my family. In 1969, I was part of the first lottery. I drew number 12.”

Since the beginning of his career, Morris has honored veterans in any way possible. “I made the decision to do what I could to serve those who were fighting for all Americans,” Morris continues. He has performed for the Air Force reserves in Germany, Italy, Turkey and other military posts in the Middle East. For three years, he hosted a celebrity golf tournament in Denver, Colorado to raise money for TAPS, an organization which provides grief counseling to military families who have suffered loss.

Currently, Morris is involved with several organizations that benefit veterans, often hosting them at his Colorado ranch, Mountain Spirit. “Mountain Spirit is a healing place,” he says of the ranch, “it’s the least I can do.” While at Mountain Spirit, the veterans are taken on a guided fly-fishing trip, housed, and fed. He continues his outreach annually with a benefit concert in Abilene, Texas each holiday season for Healing Adventures for Veterans and Survivors. It benefits a local fly-fishing group, who in turn sponsors veterans to visit the ranch each summer.

Fans can hear Gary’s personal story about his father’s service by streaming or downloading the title track from his album “Sense of Pride” at any of the following online retailers and streaming services: Apple Music, iTunes, Google Play, Amazon and Spotify. Below is a recent performance of the song on the international radio show Viva NashVegas hosted by George Hamilton V recorded live from Kimbro’s Pickin Parlor in Franklin, Tennessee.

Gary Morris, renowned singer, songwriter and Broadway actor, released “Sense of Pride” today to all major online retailers including Apple Music, Spotify, Amazon Music and more.

The 13th release of his career, “Sense of Pride” is co-produced by Morris and Michael Bonagura (Baillie & The Boys) and features eight songs written or co-written by Morris. The ninth tune was co-written by Bonagura and wife Kathie Baillie.

“‘Sense of Pride’ is the most personal musical work I’ve attempted,” Morris says. “The project has personal perspectives about my life and how I see the world. This music would not have happened without the help and perspective of Michael Bonagura. Kathie Baillie sings on two of the songs and their daughter Alyssa Bonagura sings harmony on one of the songs. The entire family is a big part of this record.

Baillie duets with Morris on “In My Dreams” and “The Moment.” Bonagura and Baillie’s tremendously talented daughter Alyssa Bonagura, part of The Sisterhood with Ruby Stewart (Rod’s daughter), sings with Gary on “Where Were You?”

“Working with Gary was a creative journey that took us both deep into our personal emotions,” Bonagura says. “Gary knew exactly what he wanted this album to sound like and I was instantly taken in by the magic of the music. Drawing from our musical roots it has a sound that is familiar and current. It turned out to be one of my favorite projects of the past several years.”

Recently signed with PLA Media in Nashville, Morris launched “Sense of Pride” with a media blitz in Music City, and national interviews in major markets in the U.S. including New York City, where he continues to be known as the voice of Jean Valjean in the Broadway sensation, Les Misérables.

“I have long been an admirer of Gary’s talent and range as an entertainer and virtuoso singer,” PLA Media President and CEO Pam Lewis said. “The timing is perfect to work with him on his new project. He is timeless.”

The Mountains Are Calling You To Join Gary Morris At Mountain Spirit Ranch New Year’s Eve

Gary Morris is going to be celebrating at Mountain Spirit Ranch on New Year’s, and is inviting you to join him on Friday, December 28 – Tuesday, January 1, 2019! He’s also inviting some musical friends to play.

Mountain Spirit is a truly magical place. It is located in Chromo, Colorado, about 25 miles south of Pagosa Springs. It sits at about 7,500 ft. and is surrounded by 13,000 ft. peaks. There is a better than average chance there will be snow on the ground, but the roads are plowed regularly. We would still recommend a 4-wheel drive vehicle.

Wolf Creek ski area is about an hour drive and is already open. It consistently has the most snow in Colorado. My plans are to ski either Saturday or Sunday. Pagosa has fabulous hot springs and places for massage.

There are seven rooms in the Lodge, and four in the River House. Rooms are on a first booking basis. Bring your own wine, and the rest is provided.

Cost is $2,500 per room, with double occupancy max. Price includes food and drink. For more details and reservations, visit GaryMorris in the Store section. Reservation Deadline is December 1st.
