Gary Morris, renowned singer, songwriter and Broadway actor is now part of the enterprising music tech startup, Bookable.
Imaginative in design and creatively executed, Bookable perfectly suits Morris, whose vocal prowess is known world-wide, and whose intimate appeal is lock-step with Bookable’s vision – to connect artists, fans and brands, allowing them to create unique live experiences.
Via Bookable fans will have direct access to booking Morris, allowing them to experience an intimate setting with the legendary artist like never before.
“I have played shows for five presidents, Broadway and everywhere in between,” Morris says, “but, I must admit, one of my favorite ways to sing my songs and tell stories is laid back. I imagine myself on a log singing around a campfire or in a comfortable chair in my living room. With Bookable, I can bring that same intimate vibe to my fans. I am very excited about this new relationship with them. I’m looking forward to playing a special house concert in YOUR hometown.”
On the heels of his new album release “Sense of Pride,” and multi-city PR performances including national shows such as Woodsongs in Lexington, WDVX in Knoxville, Sirius Radio in Nashville and a guest spot on the world-famous Grand Ole Opry, Morris’ music and famous voice continue to impact fans, old and new, across the country.”
We are thrilled to add the legendary Gary Morris to our roster” says Nick Howard co-founder of Bookable with partner Katelyn Silver Howard. “Gary is a world-class performer that the private sector has been going after for years, however super fans weren’t exactly sure how to reach him for private events. We are excited that Bookable creates an opportunity for Gary’s fans to explore his availability, negotiate a price, location, booking agreement and payment, all the logistics that neither party wants to worry about.”
Morris is best known for his golden voice, featured on such hits as “Wind Beneath My Wings,” and “Why Lady Why,” and for his epic role of Jean Valjean in Broadway’s “Les Misérables.” Most recently, Morris released “Sense of Pride,” which he describes as “the most personal musical work I’ve attempted about my life and how I see the world.”
